Where to taste wines in Siena
In the historic center of Siena there are several wine bars where you can delight your palate and nourish your soul. Near the enchanting Piazza del Campo there is Enoteca I Terzi, where there are more than 1800 labels to accompany the classic dishes of the Tuscan tradition, and the Enoteca Emporio Mediterraneo, a real “cultural” space where you can meet “convivio and doctrine “. The Enoteca Cantina in Piazza is a small place where you can taste and buy the best Tuscan wines, recommended by the owner Aimone. While since 1995 the Brunello di Montalcino Winery, still in the heart of the historic center, is the right place to enjoy a good glass, starting from the red that gives it its name.
There are also numerous wineries that offer tastings in the province: between Montepulciano, San Gimignano and Montalcino the choice is really wide. The historic Cantina De’Ricci di Montepulciano organizes tastings with samples of traditional Tuscan delicacies.
Wine & Siena is an event not to be missed if you love the flavors, aromas and customs of Tuscany.
