You cannot leave Siena without having lived a food and wine experience with all that characterizes the area. And wine is just one of the speciies of this area of Tuscany: Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Vernaccia di San Gimignano and VinSanto are some of the most famous and appreciated types in Italy but also in the world. A tour of the cellars is therefore a must in order to fully appreciate the Tuscan traditions, the customs that have been handed down from generation to generation, the weh of the surroundings of Siena. Here are 5 wineries not to be missed!
